Trespa Meteon HPL facade panels
TRESPA Meteon Poland HPL panels are a brand in themselves!
The quality of Trespa HPL panels is absolutely excellent. HPL facade panels maintain their quality during transport, storage, cutting, assembly, and after many years of use.
Trespa panels are a huge selection of HPL panel colors, patterns, prints. The boards available for sale are smooth HPL boards, wood-like boards, metallics, naturals and the new lumen facade boards.
HPL boards from Trespa Polska are available in several textures such as Trespa Satin, Trespa Gloss, Trespa Matt, Trespa Rock.
Trespa is an excellent choice for both designers and investors.
HPL TRESPA Meteon panels are panels made of thermally hardened resin reinforced with homogeneous wood fiber. All of this is pressed under high pressure at high temperatures, i.e. HPL – High Pressure Laminate. The decorative resin surface is colored with pigments dispersed in the board. This board coloring system completely eliminates the problem of delamination – separation of color from the board surface. Dyes also do not have direct contact with external atmospheric conditions, which is why the boards do not lose their color. This is what guarantees such excellent quality of the material. HPL facade boards are resistant to rotting, aging, swelling, corrosion. HPL boards, even after many years of exposure to unfavorable weather conditions, polluted air or detergents, do not lose their mechanical properties, i.e. bending resistance, impact resistance or modulus of elasticity. As a result, the manufacturer provides a multi-year warranty for its product, both in terms of the behavior of the board, its properties in all directions and in the color of HPL boards.
Trespa panels are mainly known for their use as facade cladding. However, the manufacturer offers a wider range of applications, including: making balcony claddings and partitions, and here HPL boards colored on one and both sides are dedicated, attic claddings, arcades, canopy claddings, etc.

TRESPA facade panels are installed as ventilated cladding on a specially adapted substructure.
The basic guidelines that should be considered when planning the execution of Trespa panel cladding are the panel support density, i.e. the density of the substructure under the panel. This parameter depends mainly on the thickness of the panel, as well as on the beam arrangement. HPL facade siding.
A very important element is also maintaining the necessary expansion gaps between the panels and the sliding holes under the mounting rivets. Trespa HPL panel significantly changes its longitudinal and transverse dimensions depending on temperature and humidity, mainly humidity. It is absolutely necessary to leave a gap of 2.5 mm for every 1 m of panel in both directions, so that the panel has room to expand. Taking into account additionally the tolerance of cutting, building, etc., the ventilation gap between HPL panels preferred by the manufacturer Trespa is at least 10mm.
In addition, HPL facade panels require leaving a ventilation gap under and above the panels in order to freely exhaust air from the so-called ventilation chimney created between the panel and the building insulation.
Trespa panels do not require impregnation of cut edges or drilled holes for rivets.
TRESPA panels are available in a very rich range of colours and textures.
The basic collection consists of Trespa UNI colours, i.e. smooth. Smooth panels are available in SATIN, ROCK texture – imitation stone and some colours as GLOSS – imitation glass.
The second collection of Trespa is HPL panels Trespa METALIC. Metalic panels are available in SATIN, ROCK texture – imitation of stone and some colors as GLOSS – imitation of glass.
When using panels from the Matalic collection, care should be taken in design and installation, as these are directional facade panels. Any change in the direction of the panel, by 90, 180, 270o visually changes the color of the panel.
The third collection is Trespa WOOD panels – as imitation of wood – wood-like facade. hpl WOOD panels are available in SATIN and MATT surfaces. Modern wooden facades – wood-like facade panel.
The fourth collection of Trespa is Trespa Naturals panels. These panels are available in Matt texture. External HPL facade panels.
And a novelty, the Trespa LUMEN collection. These panels are available in 8 colors. Each color has 3 types of surface finish, which can reflect light, disperse, expose or suppress. This allows for different ways of exposing light reflections within one color.
TRESPA HPL Meteon facade panels
offer huge possibilities of panel assembly. From panels mounted flat, with rivets, with glue, with screws, in a mechanical anchor system, or in flat balcony structures – HPL balcony partitions etc.
Through HPL panels freely cut to create various patterns, panel layout grids on the facade. Panels can also be bent in an arc, or spatial elements can be built from them. Trespa HPL panels can also be perforated in various patterns, illuminated. Also new are panels mounted in the HELIX system – these are panels – sails on a special substructure, creating curved blinds, facade screens.

History of Trespa [according to Wikipedia]
The company was founded by Hermann Krages (1909-1992), the son of a timber and fibreboard merchant from Bremen and brother of runner Louis Krages. He is best known today for his speculations on the German stock exchange. [1] Krages initially received a fibreboard factory from his father in the Ore Mountains of East Prussia, which he lost at the end of World War II. He then moved to Scheuerfeld, where he acquired the Berger stationery and started the production of “Deutsche Duroleum Gesellschaft”, again producing fibreboard. It expanded with new factories in Etzbach, Höxter an der Weser, Leutkirch im Allgäu and Bremen. The Weerta company was founded in 1960.
HPL panels are high-pressure, layered, thermosetting HPL laminates, resistant to external conditions on both sides. The largest selection of formats in Poland. HPL panels and laminates are easy to process and install, as well as easy to keep clean and sterile. HPL panels are also resistant to water, steam and UV rays. They are characterized by resistance to rot and corrosion, high impact resistance and even high chemical resistance.
Initially, the company was mainly involved in the sale and storage of panels manufactured in the German factory in Leutkirch. Gradually, it switched to the production of fibreboard for mattresses. This business was later incorporated into Thermopal after Krages sold his shares due to stock market speculation in the 1960s.[2] In 1964 the name was changed to “Weerter Plastics Industry” (“Weerter Kunststoffen Fabrieken” or WKF). In 1967 the company was taken over by Hoechst, which used its product for surfaces in its laboratories. In 1991 the company was renamed HAL Holding NV.
What boards are they made of? a Trespa HPL?
What is an HPL panel made of?
HPL, or high pressure laminate, as the name suggests, is a laminate made under high pressure. These types of boards consist of several or more layers of paper impregnated with resin.
