UV Radiation Research: Are Lightweight HPL Facade Panels Durable?

ProdEX HPL panels, exclusively covered with 100% natural wood veneer, offer very high UV protection, confirmed by xenon tests conducted by certified European institutions. EN 438 standard requires durability for 3,000 hours of xenon lamp exposure.

We have developed a highly resistant PVDF external film that protects PRODEX from natural elements, creating a product that is entirely maintenance-free. This PVDF film is also anti-graffiti and non-stick, preventing the growth of organic matter on the panel surface and reducing the accumulation of dust and dirt from environmental pollutants.

NO MAINTENANCE: AESTHETICS: PRODEX panels are the ideal material for facades thanks to the technical properties of the panel. The bakelite core means it is possible to customize the thickness of the panel and its subsequent technical properties, making PRODEX an ideal solution for all types of projects. PRODEX panels are extremely hard, making them highly resistant to continuous exposure to sunlight and sudden changes in temperature and humidity. They also offer a high level of durability against termite attacks and maximum resistance to vandalism. PRODEX panels also offer excellent dimensional stability. The PVDF surface prevents dust and any kind of dirt from sticking to the surface of the panel, ensuring ease of maintenance and cleaning.
