The power of color in ventilated facades
Choosing the right color for the facade of your house can completely transform the character of the building. Ventilated facades offer the possibility of a vast selection of colors, textures, structures, and even printing on facade panels.
Wood-like or concrete cladding?
Ventilated facades can look like natural concrete with visible discolorations, pores, and color and surface irregularities. To achieve such an effect, concrete panels, GRC panels, or fiber-cement panels are used. You can also achieve a very cozy home residence effect by cladding the building walls with wood-like panels, such as HPL Trespa, HPL FunderMax, or panels imitating wood from Rockwool called Rockpanel.
Or maybe uniform panels?
Another very wide range of choices is cladding in smooth solid colors. Here, the choice is enormous!
Both HPL panels such as Trespa or FunderMax offer a very large selection of smooth colors. Rockpanel panels and Equitone fiber-cement panels have a very wide palette of smooth colors.
In addition, different surface textures can be achieved. Fiber-cement panels can be in very vivid colors with a matte texture, called Pictura by the manufacturer, which are surface-painted with matte paints and additionally protected with an anti-graffiti coating.
Another from the manufacturer Equitone’s collection called Tekstura offers panels in a very rich color range but with a so-called “lamb” surface. They are painted with slightly shiny paint. Equitone Tekstura panels can be used on both walls and roofs of buildings.
Does uniform mean boring?
The choice of colors looks different for HPL panel manufacturers. HPL Trespa claddings have a vast color selection of smooth colors. Each of these colors can appear in several different surfaces. The standard finish is called Trespa Satin with a very slightly shiny satin surface. Trespa panels can also come in a matte surface called Matt or a glass-like shiny surface called Gloss, resembling real glass. There is also a surface called Rock, which looks like hammered stone.
What’s new from Trespa.
In addition to smooth colors, Trespa has introduced a collection called Lumen, characterized by each proposed color being available in three different surfaces. This allows for very interesting wall finishing effects on a house, making the appearance even spatial, as if the wall is three-dimensional.
Quality facades for years!
A huge advantage of ventilated facades is that the colors of the panels used on the building’s exterior walls do not fade, so the designed and executed ventilated facade even in very vivid colors pleases the owner with its color intensity for many years.
