CASSETTES AND FACADE CASSETTES

This is a technologically advanced method of making facades. They give a modern look to the buildings covered with them. It is an excellent material for quick wall construction. They allow for the use of comprehensive insulation solutions for the light hall system. Usually, different types and dimensions of cassettes are used on one building. They are adapted to the dimensions of the facade, the layout of door and window openings and the architectural concept. Usually, straight and corner cassettes (straight or rounded) are available.

Cassettes can be made of:

  • galvanized steel tapes;
  • galvanized steel strips covered with organic coatings;
  • steel or aluminum sheets coated with polyester, PVDF or pural;
  • stainless steel;

Properties:

  • easy and quick to install;
  • light;
  • multifunctional;
  • durable;
  • diverse;
  • resistant to mechanical damage;
  • with high fire resistance;
  • muffle noise;
  • tight;
  • resistant to atmospheric factors;
  • available in a wide range of colours;
  • with a smooth or perforated surface;
  • with rich colors;
  • designed appropriately for the intended use;
  • produced in dimensions individually selected for each project;
  • with visible or hidden fixings;

Application:

  • shopping malls;
  • office buildings;
  • public buildings;
  • production halls;
  • industrial and warehouse halls;

Installation method:

Horizontal grid elements can be attached in such a way as to hide wall irregularities. Vertical profiles are attached with a spacing depending on the dimensions of the cassettes – for large-width cassettes, intermediate elements are used. Usually, cassettes are attached to the grid elements using self-drilling screws.

    Aesthetics and functionality as well as the durability of the building materials used are of great importance for each investment. Thanks to the use of increasingly modern products with higher durability and utility parameters, it has become possible to freely manipulate shapes and colors when designing facades, whether on individual or industrial buildings. coffer    In order to meet the expectations of its customers, Blachy Pruszyński is introducing a new facade construction system to the market that fully meets the highest quality requirements, is versatile and offers a wide range of diversity.    The Facade Cassette System requires clearly marked mounting strips to avoid any inaccuracies that could affect the tightness and aesthetics of the workmanship.    The rich colour range of the offered cassettes allows you to manipulate the visual effect and create facades that stand out favorably from the surroundings.  cofferThe production process and quality control system ensure high precision of workmanship and precise maintenance of dimensions, which significantly affects the accuracy and simplicity of assembly.    The Pruszyński cassette system is available in a standard version intended for horizontal installation only. Galvanized coated sheets of 1 mm to 1.5 mm thickness or aluminum sheet (thickness 1.20) are used as production material. The fastening system has been designed in such a way that, while maintaining the durability and tightness of the connections between the individual elements of the system, the greatest possible ease and speed of installation is maintained.

Fastening technology

cofferFor all types of cassettes, the system provides open ventilated facades Warsaw connections with hidden fixings. Horizontal connections can be of any width and depend solely on the concept included in the project. The recommended dimensions for vertical gaps should be within the range of 10 to 30 mm.

    Corners and finishes

kaseton_naroznikThe condition for the proper functioning of the elevation and fulfilling its intended functions is the use of finishing and closures that protect the building from the effects of weather conditions and, above all, from rain. The corners are finished using standard system elements with dimensions adapted to the type of cassette. The edges of the windows are sealed using custom-made finishes. In order to enable proper ventilation of the building, the cassette connections should not be completely tight, natural air circulation should be allowed and water should be allowed to drain.

Design work

The condition for the proper functioning of the elevation and fulfilling its intended functions is the use of finishing and closures that protect the building from the effects of weather conditions and, above all, from rain. The corners are finished using standard system elements with dimensions adapted to the type of cassette. The edges of the windows are sealed using custom-made finishes. In order to enable proper ventilation of the building, the cassette connections should not be completely tight, natural air circulation should be allowed and water should be allowed to drain.

It is important to remember to select the correct thickness and type of sheet metal in the cassettes used, which depends on, among other things, the wind zone, the surface and height of the elevation or the dimensions of the cassettes themselves. It is absolutely recommended to use a so-called starting strip that significantly strengthens the system.

Final remarks

Since the system requires dividing the elevation with horizontal and vertical lines, precision and accuracy are required from the assembly teams. Any inaccuracy resulting from, for example, poor leveling of the building or not maintaining the vertical will be immediately visible on the elevation.
