5 steps of a designer

Engineering knowledge that creates the future with excellence
In the world of architecture and design, every building starts with one key element – your vision. At M3 Ziółek, we believe that your dreams are what truly matter. We are here to help you see your unique concept become a reality.
Step 1
Your vision is the most important! We only make your dreams come true.
The first and irreplaceable element is the designer’s vision, his idea, a unique architectural concept. If the expected final effect is known, we will help you match technical solutions, types of cladding to make it happen.
The first question is whether you are planning a project with a raw technical finish or a cozy family haven? Will it be a public utility building, a multi-family building or a single-family home? (1.1) Is the designed building a medium-high (up to 25 m) or high-rise building? (1.2)
Raw, yet cozy
Claddings with a raw technical form:
- Thin-layer concrete – see – offer/ fibre c
- Facade sheet metal – see – offer/sheet metal
- Warm and cozy facings:
- Wood – see – offer/ prodema
- Wood-like HPL – see – offer/vetiso
- Universal cladding:
- Fiber cement – see offer/ Euronit Equitone
- Ceramics – see – offer/ creaton
- Stone Ventilated plaster
High-rise building, and medium-high building
- Tall building; fire classification required – non-flammable cladding.

Step 2
A unique look for your project.
Once you have a vision, know your needs and the ability to secure them, choose the type of material you want to use.
This is also the stage when you decide whether additional decorative elements will be used, such as: steel nipples, inscriptions cut out in the cladding, varied cladding texture, bent panels, etc. Also decide whether you want to make window splays, whether the elevation will be flush with the joinery? Will the splays be made of aluminum or from the selected elevation cladding? Whether you plan to hide the water drainage under the elevation, or use downspouts in the color of the cladding.
Step 3
The overall effect and technical issues
The last aesthetic element that you need to decide on is whether you want to design the cladding in a hidden or visible installation system from the outside of the building.
Large-size panels are most often visibly mounted to an aluminum structure using rivets colored in the color of the cladding board, or invisibly using glue (up to 25 m high building) or rear-cut anchors [see – designer’s compendium / assembly systems].
Step 4
Technical issues in your executive project
Once the vision has taken material form through the selection of cladding, colour and installation system, these decisions need to be formally translated into the construction or implementation design.
All necessary information can be found on our website or by contacting us.
Basic assembly details for individual systems and technical parameters of the cladding types can be found in the downloads tab.
