THIRD STAGE OF ASSEMBLY WORKS

LINING

  • Delivery of cladding
  • Formatting the boards to the dimensions of the facade panel
  • Impregnation of cut edges
  • Cleaning of the boards, pre-construction with Sika Cleaner, activation of the bond with Sika Primer of the Sika Tack Panel adhesive system
  • Distribution of the Sika Tack Panel fixing Tape along the aluminium profiles and the Sika Tack Panel adhesive path.
  • Bonding of cladding to substructure
  • Or riveting the cladding to the aluminum profiles

The third stage of assembly works includes key activities related to the preparation and installation of the facade cladding. Careful workmanship and the use of professional materials and adhesives guarantee the durability, aesthetics and efficiency of the ventilated facade.

Delivery of Facade Cladding

The third stage begins with the delivery of the cladding, i.e. the facade panels. The cladding can be made of various materials, such as fibre cement, quartz sinter, HPL panels, facade composites, ceramics or composites, depending on the project specifications.

Formatting the Panels to the Size of the Facade Panel

After delivery, the cladding sheets are formatted to the dimensions of the façade panel. Precise adjustment of the panel dimensions to the executive project is crucial for the aesthetics and functionality of the facade.

Impregnation of the Cut Edges of Facade Panels

The edges of the cut panels are impregnated to protect them from moisture and weather conditions. This protection is important for the durability and appearance of the facade.

Cleaning of Panels, Substructures with Sika Cleaner, Activation of Bond with Sika Primer of Sika Tack Panel Adhesive System

Before installing the façade panels, both the panels and the substructure are thoroughly cleaned using Sika Cleaner. The surfaces are then activated by using Sika Primer, which increases the effectiveness of the bond.

Laying out the Sika Tack Panel Fixing Tape along the Aluminum Profiles and the Sika Tack Panel Adhesive Tape

Sika Tack Panel Fixing Tape tracks are placed along the aluminium profiles and the Sika Tack Panel adhesive tracks are prepared. This is a key step in the gluing system that enables the solid fixing of the façade panels.

Bonding of Cladding to Substructure

The façade panels are then glued to the previously prepared substructure. Sika Tack Panel glue guarantees a durable and solid connection, while allowing for the flexibility of the structure.

Be Riveting Cladding for Aluminum Profiles

In some cases, especially when a hidden screw system is used, the façade panels can also be riveted to the aluminium profiles. This is an alternative fastening that provides additional stability.
