Why ventilated façade’s
Ventilated façade means that elevation plates aren’t fixed directly to the building wall. But they are installed on special aluminum or steel sub-construction which leaves spaces between wall and plates to ventilated the façade.
Vertical section shows that ventilated façade consists of:
- Building wall
- Thermal isolation 80 – 150 mm
- Air spaces 20-50 mm
- Elevation plates 8-25 mm
Ventilated façade gives the guarantee that the building wall will be always dry. The dew point won’t be one the main wall but on the thermal isolation.The isolation is constantly ventilated by the flow of the air which is between the wall and the plates. Advantages for the building:
- Movement the dew point beyond the building wall
- Dry building wall
- Great thermal isolation
- Perfectly flat facade

- Guarantee of dry wall, eliminate the mould
